Bannalper Round Trip
A cozy round trip thanks to the mountain railway
The Bannalper Round Trip is not only attractive due to it’s beautiful scenery… with the mountain railway we first mount to the alpine farm called Bannalp. From there we ascend comfortably to “Schonegg” (about 2 hours). After the first downhill skiing we reach St. Jakob in the valley of “Grosstal”. There again we save our strength by using an aerial tramway up to “Gitschenen”. Another 500 metres in altitude will then be undertaken in the direction of “Sinsgäuer Schonegg” (1924 masl). Back in the canton of Nidwalden we then return to Oberrickenback with the help of an amazing downhill run.

Should the skiing area be closed due to extreme weather conditions or should the tour not be carried through by reason of disadvantageous circumstances, we will offer you an alternative tour.
Ski pass, mountain railway tickets und expenses are not included.
