Short Ascents – Long Descents
The proven “short ascents – long descents” concept simply works!
During your holiday we travel wherever snow conditions in the Alps are best. Based from a simple but cozy hotel, we use lifts, cable cars and skins every day to access exciting freeride terrain. Deep snow and long descents await us – with as little climbing as possible (max. 1–3 hours per day).
- Short ascents on foot or with skins from the ski resort
- Long and sometimes exotic descents
- Adventure skiing & snowboarding
- Cozy & affordable accommodation
Requirements
- Technique: good to very good off-piste ski/snowboard skills
- Fitness: enough endurance for long descents and motivation for short ascents (short is relative!)

La Grave

This is not about comfort, it’s about adventure. Long glacier descents, steep couloirs and wild off-piste lines make La Grave one of the most impressive freeride destinations in Europe.

Les Deux Alpes
Les Deux Alpes combines glacier terrain with playful freeride lines. Thanks to the altitude and varied aspects, conditions are often surprisingly good.
The resort offers long off-piste descents, exciting sidecountry terrain, quick access into alpine terrain and many options in changing weather conditions.
Alpe d’Huez
Alpe d’Huez surprises with huge terrain and endless freeride possibilities beyond the pistes. Especially exciting are the long descents around Pic Blanc and the hidden lines towards Vaujany or Oz.
The area is ideal for long freeride runs, flowy terrain, lift-&-hike routes and varied days with massive vertical.
