Titlis v. North-wall
The old Titlis classic
The north ridge proudly stands on the Titlis above the village of Engelberg. The first courageous ascent of the ridge took place as early as 1913 through the weak points over bands and inclined zones. Even today the tour through the impassable north face remains a great adventure.
Climbing and walking in exposed terrain alternates with stimulating climbing in the fourth degree of difficulty. The conclusion over the long north ridge to the Titlis glacier demands the final condition again.
Easy descent with the cable car back to Engelberg.
