Dammastock via east-ridge
Great combined alpine tour to the highest peak of Uri!
High above the beautiful Göscheneralp valley stands the mighty Dammastock. At 3630 metres above sea level, it is the highest mountain in Canton Uri. From the Dammahütte, it goes over glaciers, a small firn ridge and over gripping rock to the summit. Descent either via the route again, or simple descent into the Belvedere curve over the Rhonengletscher.
Under the professional guidance of a mountain guide, we accompany you to the summit and back again!

Information and
After a cosy night at the Dammahütte, we will climb up to the Dammagletscher early in the morning. After the impressive sunrise, the route leads over crevasses to the small “Bianco Grat” at the foot of the Dammastock Ostrippe. In 7-10 short pitches we climb the Dammastock summit in the middle of the big glacier tongue of the Rhonengletscher. (max. 3b) The route is secured with solid pitches and climbing is fluid and fun.
Descent either via the same route or glacier trekking over the Rhonengletscher.
